Encouraged by the Holy Spirit: The Person Who Comes Alongside

Part 4 of our Acts 9:31 series focuses on a phrase we all desperately need to understand: "encouraged by the Holy Spirit."

The early church faced persecution, opposition, and threat, yet they flourished. When the threat was great, God's grace was greater. And a key reason they thrived was the encouragement of the Holy Spirit.

This message explores the Greek word paraclesis (to be called to one side), why it matters that the Holy Spirit is a person and not just a force, and the three things he does for us: comforts us, helps us, and dwells in us.

It also unpacks the dunamis, dynamite power, that the Holy Spirit makes available to every believer. The same power that raised Christ from the dead.

If you're feeling discouraged, weighed down, or running on empty, this message offers a powerful invitation: allow the Holy Spirit to take the lead.
