Butterflies

0-3 years

Infants here learn about the things of God through messy play, having Bible stories read to them, singing and free play.

Busybees

3-5 years

Children are taught the Bible through interactive storytelling! This may include puppets, song and dance with actions, and crafts!

Lambs

5-7 years

Children learn through song and dance, interactive Bible stories, and crafts!

Lions

7-11 years

Children engage in worship through song and dance, playing games, and unpacking Bible stories in small group discussions!

During our Sunday services, children ages 0 - 11 years are split up into four age brackets.

Registration for City Church Kids takes place in the balcony foyer from 10am until 11am on a Sunday morning. Once the announcement that City Church Kids is about to start appears on the screen, parents of Busybees & Butterflies can escort their children to these classes.

Lions and Lambs are free to make their way to the door leading to the basement (clearly signposted!) where they'll be escorted down by the team.

Meet Naomi

Naomi Nelson is our Children's Pastor. She oversees our growing children’s ministry at City Church. Although born in Trinidad & Tobago, Naomi became an Essex girl at six years old. She graduated from Regents Theological College and joined us in August 2017. She loves dancing and singing!

Meet Catrin

Catrin is our Early Years Worker and is passionate about enabling young children to learn about and experience God. Catrin is the third generation in her family to attend City Church, and in her spare time, she enjoys singing and eating out with friends.
